HARRIS DOUBLE HELPS ALL GOLDS DOWN EELS
Bristol All Golds 26 Brentwood Eels 12
Bristol All Golds picked up a well-earned home win on Saturday, beating Brentwood Eels 26-12 at Coombe Dingle Sports Complex.
Brentwood started quickly with an early try, but the All Golds responded well and went in at half time 14-4 ahead thanks to tries from Lewis Harris, Eric Davidson and Fiach Millward, with Callum Merrett adding one conversion.
Brentwood pulled one back early in the second half, but Bristol kept themselves in control. Lewis Harris crossed again for his second of the game before Adam Turner added another late on, with Adam Rusling converting both second-half tries.
Brentwood scored again near the end, but the All Golds had done enough to secure a much-needed win in the National Conference South.
Jack Hunter was named Bristol All Golds man of the match, with Euan Tiernan taking the award for Brentwood Eels.
