The Demons continued their dominance over the Ferns with a comfortable 56-0 win over the Bristol-based side at the University Sports Ground.

Jasmine Gibbons ran in three tries and Elinor Isaac two, adding three goals for a personal haul of 14 points, while Amy Price and Charlie Mundy also crossed twice in the Demons’ 12 try haul while Eleri Michael added a goal.

The Demons had eased to a 22-0 advantage by the interval through Price, Isaac (2) Gibbons and Mundy but were made to work hard for their points by a gutsy Ferns side who had a try from Bobbie Jackson harshly disallowed during this period. 

In the second period, they had three further scores on the board through Sophie Solari, Rhi Parker and Bridget Jones-Crabtree by the time the Ferns had Trish Brown sin-binned with a quarter of the game remaining.

The home side maximised their advantage with scores from Price and Gibbons before late scores from Gibbons again and Mundy finished the rout.
